Good Luck to CriminalType on a repeat performance! Not sure if this is a BOTS week or not, do they count double in the standings?

I have no clue again this mid-week, but thanks for the congrats from Saturday's Aqueduct event, looking forward to SantaAnita this weekend.

Race 1. FROSTY EXPRESS 2--9--3.

Race 2. SOUPER FUNNY 7--3--2. I almost declared myself the RazzleDazzleMan but then thought it more appropriate to be just a little funny.

Race 3. GONNA WANNA WINK 3--6--2. Just one question....why is Cinco #6?

Race 4. OVERNIGHT FLING 7--9--1 This was tough, I was tempted to go for the FlashyBargirl but then I discovered she was WildAboutMoney and I had no interest in GiveMeLove so I wound up with the #7.

Race 5. KYNESS 5--6--7

Race 6. EURO INDIAN GIRL 6--4--5 Another tough choice, the UntamedDixie or the EuroIndianGirl?

Race 7. QUEEN OF THE HILL 2--4--1 The tough choices just keep on comin, almost went with the DangerousVixen here!

Race 8. SKIP THE PUNCH line 6--3--4

I might've given away too many of my handicapping insights and for that I apologize in advance, good luck to all who dare.

**RESULTS**

GOOD EVENING AND WELCOME TO
MIDWEEK MAYHEM AT CHARLES TOWN RACETRACK
WHERE CRIMINAL TYPE WILL BE RUNNING FOR A REPEAT VICTORY GALLOP

OUR FIELD HAS BEEN DIMINISHED BY THREE MAJOR SCRATCHES OF:

JOHN HENRY WHO MAY HAVE HAD A RELAPSE
BLUNNY WHO MAY HAVE FALLEN ASLEEP IN HIS STALL
CIGARSHOP WHO MAY HAVE COME UP LAME
AFTER HIS SHENANIGANS IN HIS LAST RACE
JUMPING OVER THE INFIELD FENCE

THIS HAS LEFT US WITH A SMALL FIELD OF EIGHT

THE HORSES ARE IN THE STARTING GATE
EVERYONE SEEMS CALM AND READY TO RUN

AND AWAAAAAAAAY THEY GO

ZOOMING OUT OF THE GATE LIKE A TRIO OF FIRECRACKERS ARE
CRIMINAL TYPE, RUFFIAN & STARK
WHO HAVE LEFT THE FIELD FAR BEHIND

OAKLAWN CAPPER IS NEXT BUT AT LEAST 10 LENGTHS BACK

CATALINA AND REAL QUIET SIDE-BY-SIDE ARE NEXT

AND TROTTING ALONG IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE
ARE DUSTY AND TIGER DANCER

THEY'VE REACHED THE TOP OF THE STRETCH

THE RACE HAS TURNED INTO A 2-HORSE
BATTLE ON THE FRONT END BETWEEN
RUFFIAN & STARK WHO HAVE BEEN RUNNING
NECK & NECK FROM THE GATE

CATALINA AND REAL QUIET ARE QUICKLY
GAINING GROUND AS OAKLAWN CAPPER
HAS LOST HIS EARLY MOMENTUM

AND DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME

RUFFIAN & STARK LEADING THE WAY

AND NOW THERE IS A ROAR FROM THE CROWD
AS CATALINA SUDDENLY CAUGHT FIRE AND
IS GAINING GROUND QUICKLY

THE WIRE LOOMS JUST AHEAD

WAY TOO CLOSE TO CALL!
IT IS A PHOTO FINISH FOR THE WIN
OBJECTION LIGHTS ARE FLASHING
BOTH TRAINERS HAVE COME OUT ON THE FIELD
BOTH JOCKEYS ARE ON THE PHONE

THE STEWARDS TAKING A LOT OF TIME
REVIEWING THE REPLAY

FINALLY THE LIGHTS HAVE STOPPED FLASHING
THE OFFICIAL NUMBERS ARE UP

LOUD SHOUTS OF JOY CAN BE HEARD
FROM THE MEN IN THE CROWD

MOANS & GROANS FROM THE LADIES

HERE IS WHY....
ONLY .08 CENTS WAS THE DIFFERENCE
OF GLORY OR GLOOM

"THE QUEEN OF THE HILL "
TURNED OUT TO BE A COLT... :o

AS THE ALMOST "DANGEROUS VIXEN"
LOST GLORY BY THE TINIEST OF WHISKERS

STARK ONCE AGAIN HAS EMERGED IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE
ON A WEDNESDAY THAT IS NOT A BOTS DAY!

RUFFIAN (MAYBE A "QUEEN" IN HER OWN MIND)
AND ACTUALLY LIVES ON A "HILL"
BUT ALSO CAN BE A "DANGEROUS VIXEN"
STRUGGLED WITH THE DECISION BETWEEN
THE 2 NAMES SO SIGNIFICANT TO HER
BUT THE FINAL DECISION PROVED TO BE WRONG :(

$$-OFFICIAL RESULTS-$$

STARK ================== $70.20

RUFFIAN ================= $69.40
(THE .08 CENT DIFFERENCE = QUEEN OF THE HILL ($4.60)

CATALINA ================ $59.20

REAL QUIET =============== $46.80
STEALS THE PRECIOUS

==== ALSO RAN ====

OAKLAWN CAPPER ======= $41.80

CRIMINAL TYPE (DC) ====== $37.20

DUSTY =============== $24.00

TIGER DANCER ========== $23.20
(TUFF WAY TO GET INTO THE CAT HOUSE
WITH AN $.80 KEY CHARGE)

I THINK THAT STARK IS AIMING FOR THE DISTORTED HUMOR AWARD! :lol:

AS WELL AS WINNING 3 OF 4 MIDWEEK & 3 OF 4 SUPER SATURDAY
THIS COLT IS ON A FAST TRACK HEADED FOR GLORY
AND MAYBE A FEW YEAR-END AWARDS!

AND SPEAKING OF THE MEOW MIX AWARDS

PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH THE DELAY
BECAUSE AS I HAD MENTIONED BEFORE,
ALTHOUGH MY WORDS WERE WRITTEN IN JANUARY ---

THE ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS THAT TURN MY WORDS
INTO A WORK OF ART MASTERPIECE
IS DUE TO THE MAGIC OF TIGER DANCER

BUT LIFE HAS A WAY OF TOSSING MANY LEMONS INTO OUR PATH
AND LEMONADE ISN'T ALWAYS THAT EASY TO MAKE

BECAUSE OF THAT---
TIGER DANCER HAS NOT HAD THE ADEQUATE TIME TO WORK ON
DOING 18 GRAPHICS TO COMPLETE THE MEOW MIX AWARDS

WE BOTH APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE & UNDERSTANDING
HOPEFULLY THE AWARDS CEREMONY WILL SOON APPEAR
