CT reporting live from CT as in Charles Town where the irony of the CT initials had
absolutely no influence on the outcome of the race

This evening's race at Charles Town was also BOTS day
Colts vs Fillies = Gender Challenge

But when the gates opened - there was no challenge to be seen

What was supposed to be A Horse Race packed with Drama and
perhaps a photo finish ---

Instead looked like a Horse running at breakneck speed down the track
with 7 SNAILS slugging along about 30 Lengths back!

There was never a challenge
There was never anyone who even got close to the Runaway Leader

Today was the Roar and Eye Of the Tiger from Gate to Wire

Tiger Dancer "Devoured" the field from the start
leaving little room or appetite for Tiger Chow -
But leaving plenty of Crow & Humble Pie for the others behind her
hopelessly trying to catch her

She Never looked back to see if anyone was closing -
Happily just trotting to the wire with no fear of being caught

I think I even heard her singing "Doo Dah Doo Dah" nearing the wire
or else that Scotch in the Dog House had more of a kick than I did?

Saving Face for the Colts was Blunny who ran a distant 2nd
Real Quiet finished 3rd another 15 lengths behind Blunny
The Precious goes to Catalina

Also Running (and I use the term very loosely here) were

John Henry
Ruffian (DC)
Criminal Type - who just missed out on the key to the Dog House --- grrrrrr
Dusty - rewarded with the Key to the Cat House
Where she may just drown her sorrows in Catnip (or whatever those Fillys store there?)
