RESULTS PER REAL QUIET

9 went to the post at Evangeline in a Midweek Mayhem Matchup and one came home a winner while the rest looked forward to Super Saturday. After a slight delay while the stewards decided if Blunny and Real Quiet should run as a coupled entry (ultimately denied by the Grand Poobah Ruffian) the field approached the gate. Gate 10 was left open should Tiger Dancer be entered as a supplemental entry but once again she was a no show but never fear, she will be back. A Tiger does not change its stripes. The field broke from the gate cleanly save for Dusty who dwelt at the start. As they hit the turn it was Roofian with the lead followed by Blunny and Real Quiet with Criminal Type saving ground in 4th. Dusty can "see em all". As the field made its way down the backstretch Real Quiet and Blunny moved past Rolfian in tandem and Catalina started to rally. Dusty can still "see em all". Around the turn they went and it was all Catalina as they hit the stretch. Blunny and Real Quiet had no answer to the "Cat's" powerful move (note: thats Cat NOT Lady Cat). Once again the colts who finished 2-3-4 could not handle the awesome filly Catalina. Congrats on her Evangeline win. The complete order of finish is listed below. My totals agree with Ruffian so the results are official.

2) Blunny $73.10 (9 out of 10 in the money)
3) Real Quiet $70.10 (should have known not to go against Blunny in race
4) Criminal Type $56.80
5) Elll Prado $54.60
6) Ruffian $43.60 (see I can spell it right if I so choose)
7) Cigarshop $30.20
John Henry $22.60 (at least he doesn't have to score)
9) Dusty $11.40 (Dusty can "still see em all" and gets to score next week)
