That was just one factor I don't think it cost him the race however, he had his shot he didn't fire, he hated being behind horses then he was out wide before the turn and all through the stretch. I don't buy the grabbed a quarter is the reason he lost others have had that happen and still won to me that just seems like trying to find an excuse, the horse that won is nice and Clement is pretty high on him, had it not been for an illness that impeded his training he would have had a shot of the derby I believe
