Criminal Type reporting for TBR News Networks live from the 'Dog House' at Gulfstream Park --
where I booked another week reservation complete with Beer Keg, Cable + Kibble
I feel right at home here after making the mortgage payment so often!!

Today's feature event was the Midweek Mayhem Stakes

From the minute the Gate opened, The Eye of the Tiger was all Focus and Determination

Tiger Dancer wearing Blinkers that had Smoke Detectors embedded in the fabric helped
her determine exactly where that lurking, stalking Cigarshop was in relation to her tail!
Her trainer apparently was well aware of that Colt's affection for his Filly

Today that special feature benefited her greatly as Cigarshop never lost sight of
that flashy filly tail in front of him but kept her well aware of how close he was at all times

As Tiger Dancer had things going all her own way ---
The other Feline Filly, Ruffian roared just off the tail of Cigarshop reminding him
that he was running between the Big Cats and better stay focused on his game plan
because nobody puts Kitty in a corner and comes out good afterwards

KD running strongly tried but could not catch the front running Trio

At the top of the stretch, Tiger Dancer grew bored & weary of the Cat + Mouse game
and took off with a tremendous burst of energy leaving Cigarshop muttering
something under his breath as he gasped for air trying to catch the runaway Filly on the lead

But all his efforts were in vain as Tiger Dancer proved to be way too much Filly
for the Mighty Cigarshop to handle today

He gave his all -- but his all was way too little when the wire came

Ruffian just missing out by a Cheetah Whisker finished 3rd

KD who ran well rounded out the Superfecta

What a GREAT call Criminal Type!! I don't mind running 2nd to my beloved Tiger Dancer and to be "sandwiched" in between Ruffferrroooooo well just makes it all the better.

But I'm not quite sure these Fillies can handle the "mighty" Cigar.....

Now about your attempt for the three peat in the "dog house" I think that's a new category !!
You've now given me an idea and that's not good for anyone when I think...
