Criminal Type here - reporting from the Dog House
With all the news of the day -- The Highs & Lows
The Glory and the agony of da feet

When the gate opened it was a Stampede for the Lead
John Henry & KD with a nose in front of:

Ruffian -- JT Dancer --- Cigarshop --- GotaDunQH --- Blunny

But that didn't last long as Catalina sprung a surprise to take command

The Turn turned out to be the Turn in the race as El Prado whinnied loud
and ran past Catalina --- taking the lead easily

Catalina just a length behind El Prado
Blunny & KD staying right there staying close to the Filly tails in front

Began to look like a match race of El Prado + Catalina --
--- until the top of the stretch when the race did a 180 as a
Chalk Player's Dream was turning into a great big Nightmare

Nightmare for the Mares in front as the Colts suddenly woke up and
without warning showed those Fillies who was in charge - and it wasn't them

Criminal Type went from Junkyard Dog To Top Dog in a wink of an eye --
From the clouds as if remembering how he won Horse of the Year

KD right there at his tail

JT Dancer with a huge move making her Filly presence known so the Colts
in the lead would not assume they had it won

El Prado joined in the Filly battle cry along with JT Dancer
Catalina also joining up with the Fillies to make their whinny heard

And down the Stretch they came

Criminal Type firing on all cylinders
KD staying right with him just a length off the CT tail

And as the wire drew closer
Criminal Type fired the last Shot heard round the track
leaving KD in his wake as he put his Colt nose on the wire

KD = very strong finished an impressive 2nd

JT Dancer representing the Fillies hung in there to finish 3rd

El Prado who had a huge first half, faded in the 2nd half but held on for 4th

Turns out that the comment by Cigarshop last week .... about when is CT getting
out of the Dog House must have made an impression
