A Highway Robbery occurred last night at Remington Park Racetrack
The track was not very busy due to the cold evening temps so Security
was at minimum --- easy pickins for the clever and well armed Bandits
Eye Witnesses report seeing a well known "Criminal Type' dude along with
several other Cat-Thief types looking very suspicious toward the end of the races
They Snuck In like Thieves in the Night making off with approximately $530
Local Law Enforcement have put out a BOLO for the Thieves
Witnesses estimated there were around 9 in the Gang
Last seen stopping by a local Cigar Shop for a Puff & A Snack
but by the time the Law arrived they were gone
A phone call into Crime Stoppers led Police back to the Racetrack where
it seems that Greed Trumps Freedom!
SWAT was called in as back up surrounding the track - blocking all exits
But The Bandit Brigade came out and surrendered without incident
Swiftly taken into custody the Money was removed from each Thief
and returned to Remington Park Racetrack
Track officials report they are not going to prosecute but are demanding
Community Service at the track in the form of Mucking Stalls
The number of days for the Community Service will be based on the amount
of money found on each thief
The names have now been released into the public record
and the Money recovered from each Thief
