And Defending Champion Tiger Dancer

But their lead is quickly diminishing as John Henry
has accelerated so fast he Has joined the 4 in front

Blunny & Catalina are next ...

Trailing in the early going are
Ruffian - Peeptoad - Cigarshop - & Dusty

OUT OF THE TURN THEY COME

Things have changed dramatically now
As Ruffian let her Inner Cheetah out and has Roared to the lead

Catalina appearing to be well rested also
With Hooves on fire has joined Ruffian
As these 2 Fillys have taken command

It's about 5 lengths back to a tightly bunched

Catalina has increased her speed and has
Taken the lead alone as Ruffian veered sharply
At something she saw --- losing her momentum

Cigarshop & Criminal Type continue to run Very strongly
and are only 3 lengths behind The front running Fillys

Blunny - John Henry & Stark are still in With a shot

Tiger Dancer not showing the form she did
In her last winning effort seems sluggish today

Are gonna have to really get going if
They hope to even get a piece of the purse

Cigarshop has increased his speed and has
Moved up to within a length of Catalina & now looms
as the main challenger to The Fast Filly in front

Criminal Type continues to run strongly
Ruffian is right there with him

Now we can see it's Peeptoad who had been
Trailing the entire field just a moment ago ---
has sprouted invisible wings to pass one after Another
and move up to the tail of Criminal Type & Ruffian

Cigarshop is all out trying to catch the
Fiery Fast Filly in front but she seems very
Aware of the determined Colt behind her
As she switches gears into Overdrive to
Leave the Colt with dust in his face and
A bruised ego as her dainty nose touches the wire

Criminal Type stays strong to finish 3rd

Peeptoad with an incredible closing kick
Has stolen The Precious from Ruffian
