Question about catalogue pages for sales

How important is that sire section above the listing of the dam side produce record and under the pedigree (the part that says describes the sire, and mentions his SW or SP runners for that year)? Do buyers rely on that section for info about sires?

I ask because for the Keeneland October sale starting on 10/21, the sire section for Honor A.P. on the catalogue pages is wrong. It lists his SP runners, including Glee…but Glee is a SW; she won a Remington Park stakes on 9/29 by almost 16 lengths

Every sire deserves to have accurate info listed - but as a huge HAP fan, I know that this could really hurt him. I’ve tweeted Fasig Tipton and Lanes End, but I don’t think any corrections or updates will be made

HAP’s sales are pretty poor, so I’m not sure if even Glee’s SW would help him, but still - I think it’s really unfortunate

that page was probably submitted between her stakes placing and her stakes win.

No doubt, but shouldn’t they at least include the update the way they do for runners on the dam side?

Because a buyer could spend 10 seconds and find updated info about a stallion. It's not easy to get female side updates.

That’s a great point - thanks!
