he won't be covering 200 mares next year if he keeps at this pace racing results wise though. only 14 winners from 59 starters and 1 minor stakes winner is... bad. by Spendthrift standards. especially when the sire got as much support as he did in his first year. i do think they'll get better with age and distance and i'm sure that's what Spendthrift is praying for.
