Who might be some soon to pensioned stallions (as in the next 3 years or so)? I kinda think Freud, he's in his mid 20s now.

Tapit and Medaglia d' oro are two I can think of getting up in age but there covering numbers are good so probably won't be for a bit

Into Mischief is getting close to 20 now but I doubt he's ever going to be pensioned unless something happens to those wonky legs of his

MDO is turning 26. I thought they'd pension him already before the 2024 season.
Candy Ride, Ghostzapper. Maybe War Front?

Why did I think Mineshaft had passed already? Think I had him mixed up with Flatter.

Farms don't pension successful and popular stallions unless there is a reason to, either physically unable to breed or fertility issues. I asked in the Stallion News thread earlier this year if anyone could come up with a stallion that was pensioned for just age and no one could come up with one, there was always another reason. Farms do limit the stallions book as they get older but they breed until there is an issue or they pass.
