Sire Generation Uniqueness

I know its a weird thread name, that is what the Jockey Club's new resource is called. The chart starts out with 1970 and has data for every 10 years, and 2015-2019. It shows how many stallions sired foals, then how many 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th generation sires. I guess so that people can see the narrowing of the breed's genetics?

What is really neat is you can click on any of the generations in the years themselves. For first generation its going to show stallions that stood that year. 2nd generation is going to be the sires of sires, 3rd the grandsires, etc. So they consolidate back as they go. There are some interesting lines out there still but they aren't being used much.
