Devastating flooding in Victoria Australia has resulted in Yulong Stud putting out a desperate plea for anyone to help evacuate their property with the water still rising. They are asking for anyone in the area with a boat, float, truck or rescue equipment or dry covers to please help them. https://twitter.com/YulongInvestme1/sta ... iPCAw&s=19 https://www.racing.com/news/2022-10-14/ ... -at-yulong

What a horrible situation. Hopefully Yulong gets the help it needs. All horses are precious, but Yulong has about $50,000,000 worth of recently purchased young broodmares on their farm at any given time, hopefully they all got out of the floodwaters safe.

I hope everyone, people, horses and other animals, are safe. Scary to see that amount of water anytime but especially during foaling season.
Thanks for the update; it's tragic that they lost two foals.
Considering Southern Hemisphere farms are in the midst of foaling season, it's fortunate that they didn't lose more new babies.
