I figured if Queen Z had her own thread, then Queen B deserves one as well! Especially since she has foals of racing age.

Foals to date:

2018 → Q B One (Uncle Mo colt)
2019 → Karin With an I (Curlin filly)
2020 → Teena Ella (War Front filly)
2021 → Unnamed Bolt d'Oro filly
2022 → i/f to Curlin

Karin With an I recently posted her first workout at Santa Anita. Any idea who the trainer is?

According to Equibase, Q B One hasn't recorded a workout in over 60 days.

I'd guess Mandella.

Mandella said he was a few weeks from a debut then he worked once more and that was it. He hasn't worked since January 16th. Mandella also said in some article that the colt hadn't shown he was a star yet, just a little above average and they had to stop on him last year because he "lost" interest in training. I imagine we see him at stud next year without ever starting. Its easier to get a spot at stud if your record is Unraced, than say if it was (3)0-0-0.

I can't think of any unraced stallions except for Speightstown's half brother Fiber Sonde in West Virginia.

Curlin to Mischief (Curlin/Leslie's Lady) and Heaven's Glory (Tapit/Peeping Fawn) are a couple off the top of my head.

This was years ago, but Gold Legend and Hermitage both got a chance at stud because of their outstanding female families.

I got to thinking about Beholder and just realized something. She will be going into the Hall Of Fame next summer! It's a little hard to believe that 2022 will be the 6th calendar year since she retired and the first year of eligibility for her. Nobody can doubt that she's a slam-dunk 1st ballot inductee, so it's pretty much a sure thing.

It's kind of too bad that Wayne couldn't hold on for one more year to be able to see it. It will be a bittersweet moment for the Spendthrift family for sure. He loved her SO much!
