Current catalogue for the Australian Inglis Digital June Sale has over 500 entries
https://inglisdigital.com/catalogue/cur ... alogue.htm
Its a major market in this part of the world, many racehorses from big stables are entered often with notes included if the horse would appreciate a smaller stable or racing at smaller tracks. Pictures, videos, xrays, &/or vet reports are available on most of the horses catalogued and there is usually a very detailed description of each horse ability, current fitness, vices and why they are for sale.

Interesting, wondering if someone picked him up for stud. I kind of hope it was just a fan of one of his siblings who is intending to geld.

If I ran a stud farm I wouldn't mind having a half brother to 3 GSWs and 1 sire as one of my teasers. I don't like he is unraced but I would pursue colts with strong families to their "rewards" have a good chance of actually producing a decent runner.

He raced, he brokedown earlier this year and can't race anymore. But he did win once.

With a pedigree like that, you would think some regional farm would give him a chance. Worth a gamble...and you might end up with lightning in a bottle.

True, but how many sons of Tapit with great pedigrees are there every year? 50? 75? At least he was a winner, but unless he's physically perfect and you're willing to support him with a dozen or two mares. . .

Kentucky Summer?
No.
I just looked him up and he posted 4 workouts from December 17th to January 8th at Oaklawn. So I guess whoever bought him wants to try and race him again.... I don't think I can be excited about this.

Was he not listed as a stallion prospect only...? Or does that actually mean anything?

I believe that he was when he was in the Keeneland Digital Sale but I had to go back up and look at the messages in the thread. He didn't sale in the Keeneland Digital Sale. You said he sold through Starquine, I never saw his ad on there.
An owner CAN put something like "sold as a non-racer" on a horses papers so that they can't be raced again. His old owner didn't do that it seems. Its something they have to do through the Jockey Club and he does not have one on his file.
I went and looked after I posted this, its called, "retired from racing"
