Globe Trot

How good of a mare was she? 2 G1 winners in Bolt d’Oro and Global Campaign, and SW Sonic Mule, in 3 foals. Although not a surprise with that female family!
Too bad she died.

We also have Catch the Moon, whose 4 to race (all colts again) are all at least GSP.

I just posted about her the other day in the racing forum!
It's a shame she didn't leave a filly to carry on her legacy, but she does have some sisters (all out of the mare, Trip)!
Cancel -- 4yo filly o/o Blame (never raced)
Need -- 13yo mare o/o Strong Hope (never raced)
Rocket Maker -- 10yo mare o/o Empire Maker (10: 2-0-0)
Samurai's Honor -- 9yo mare o/o First Samurai (5: 0-0-2)
That's all per Equibase, anyway.

Cancel is still owned by Claiborne, I believe. She had a First Samuari filly this year but the filly died before being registered. She was bred back to Runhappy.
Need is also owned by Claiborne. She has a 2018 colt, Tintorero (by Flatter), a 2019 colt by Algorithms, a 2020 colt by Flatter and was not bred for 2021. Her 2020 foal was born on May 10th, so they may have chose to give her a year off to get her foals born early again.
Rocket Maker was sold in 2012 to Frank Fletcher Racing and had the same owner as of 2018. Her filly, Runaway Rockette (by Into Mischief) was bred by Frank Fletcher. She didn't have a foal in 2019 or 2020 but was bred to Into Mischief for 2021.
Samurai's Honor was sold in 2018 to Winner's Farm. She has a 2018 filly, Impressive One (by Flintshire) and also didn't produce foals in 2019 or 2020, but was bred to Frosted this year.
