Foal Patrol Season 2 is up and running. Frosted, a stallion addition this year, is in his stall and ready for the breeding shed to open.

Bookmarked right away...can't wait for the babies to come!
Give me that short lead, give me that win by a nose, get them all home safely!

Checked in on FP this morning. Love and Pride is in her stall eating, and covered in mud from an apparently lovely roll.
Also, it's a real pleasure to see a daughter of Winning Colors among the FP mares this year.

He really does--some of them look like little starbursts. I'm glad he's not greying out as quickly as some other Tapits do.

I'll get the depressing news out of the way with my list of mares who already have a no foal report on file.
Afleet Alexsis (full to Afleet Alex)
Alexis Tangier
Bella Dorato (dam of Trinniberg)
Dayatthespa
Dream Rush
Enchanted Rock (dam of Verrazano, etc.)
Fiftyshadesofhay
Flute
Folklore
Greenery (dam of Lea)
Also, mares who weren't bred in 2018:
Alittlebitearly (dam of Bayern)
Always a Princess
Andujar
Arcadiana (1/2 to Cigar; dam of Cigar Street)
Arravale (foaled late and was sent to Ireland)
Ashado
Awesome Humor
Awesome Surprise (full to Wilko)
Bail Out Kitten (o/o Bail Out Becky)
Behaving Badly
Belva (dam of English Channel)
Cat Moves (foaled late and was sent to Australia)
Cindy's Hero
Cluster of Stars
Collect Call
Critical Eye
Dancethruthedawn
Dream of Summer
Dream Supreme
Eden's Moon
Fiery Pursuit
Found (IRE)
Global Finance (dam of Acapulco)
^^It's possible any of the not bred mares could have died and do not have a death report on file with JC, or that they have been pensioned for one reason or another.
I'll pick this back up tomorrow.

Out of all foals being born, I'm excited for either Birdatthewire (covered by Uncle Mo) or Distinta (covered by Mastery)'s foals to be born... And I might be excited for Danessa Deluxe's 2019 foal if she was covered last year, but to be honest, I'm excited for so many of Summer Bird's grandfoals to be born... So far, he has about 32 of his daughters that have retired to broodmares and of course, he might have some more this year... But still, overly excited to see their foals this year.
Although, I'm wondering who went to who last year as 25 of his daughters are unknown to visit on 'Summer Bird Kids' Facebook page But I guess I'll find out sooner or later

Yeah that's what was first announced, I was surprised to see a different mare on there too. Although I guess I really shouldn't be, since she was so excited about La Verdad's filly but then went and put her in the sale... unless that was always what she meant to do. *shrug*
I just hope this year all the mares deliver safely & stay healthy with their foals. *fingers x*

Let's see...
I'm excited for Galileo x Stellar Wind, even though we won't see a photo. I'm also excited for any and all Bal a Bali foals, Cupid foals, Blofeld foals...and the two Mylute foals Lord willing .

I hope Found is alright. Her first and only foal would have been a War Front colt that was delivered on May 10th of this year. Pretty late delivery for a maiden mare, maybe they just decided to wait till next year to get an earlier covering in?
Is there any info on whether or not she was exported? I wouldn't be surprised to see her go back to Ireland or Japan to visit successful young stallions like No Nay Never or Camelot... or take another route that Coolmore has used and go to Deep Impact.

No she is hasn't been exported. Its quite possible she aborted her first covering or something, its not uncommon in maiden mares. Thus the late foaling date.
