Curious to see who the Cairo Prince full brother will go to. There is also a PotN out of a Tapit mare. Haven't gotten a chance to look through the entire catalog yet but BH posted this
http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/ ... -september

I am thinking maybe the Uncle Mo filly out of an A.P. Indy mare will probably get some love too. (HIP 80)

I'll be out there all sale working for a few different people. Should be a good sale, it's been hard to cut down lists.

Yeah even with a cursory glance there seems to be a lot of varied and interesting offerings. Good luck to you and your clients! Also let us know if there are any who look as good in person as on paper ;)

The Dream Rush filly was supposed to be spectacular but was listed as an out this morning, which was a bummer. Thankfully I'm just photographing horses for people, I don't trust myself with others' money at this point when it comes to the first few books!

Any rumblings as to why the Dream Rush filly was withdrawn?

A friend who works at Stonestreet basically said she was too nice to sell. I'm not sure if that's the actual reason but it's the only thing I've heard.

Thanks, MM! Hoping that that indeed is all the reason for pulling her.

As a fan of European racing, I'm really looking forward to hip 446, the Dromoland's full brother to Seventh Heaven. Probably won't bring mega bucks since he's European through and through but with how many European buyers I've seen on the grounds in recent years, he should be pricey.

He is gorgeous. I assume his mane will darken over time.

I saw a number of Speightstowns who are nice. I think he'll sell well at this sale.

The Grace colt is very nice. I hope Pope doesn't change her mind as it'll be fun to see him sell. He looks more like the dam instead of a typical War Front.

This is the fireworks horse, I think.

Did you see hip 82, the Speightstown-Switched Up colt? I helped foal him out during my internship and was wondering how he looked if you saw him.

Thanks for the response! He was one of my favorites as a foal, looks and personality wise .

I'll be a bit surprised if she sells him...but she's got to recoup some of that money she's spent on the mares. I'd like to see how the bidding goes. Very nice looking.

I've never heard of a mane that darkens with age. What makes you think that, out of curiosity?

I know I gripe about TVG, but they're going to be doing something cool...sending Britney Eurton to the Keeneland sale to do all day coverage on Monday and Tuesday, starting at 8 AM Pacific/11 AM Eastern. It will be fun to see some of the interesting yearlings live from the sale.
