I'll be in Kentucky on the night of the 7th through 9th. I have appointments with several farms and am seeing if there are smaller farms I can squeeze in between appointments. Domino Stud is one that plan to see the grave. Any other suggestions?

No other suggestions? I am seeing Stoner Creek to visit Count Fleet, and at Mt. Brilliant for Domino. Any other places that are easily accessible? Hamburg's Place? Is Bull Dog's grave still at its location?

There are a number of old-timers, including Imp, buried in a relocated graveyard near the Hamburg Place shopping center. I visited it a few years ago--my first favorite, turf champ T.V. Lark, is buried there.

If you haven't been to Old Friends (or don't have time for the tour), directly beside the office are the graves of Noor and Skip Away. You can check and see if they ever corrected the Eclipse Award dates on Skip Away's headstone (they were all off by one year last I looked)

Thanks for posting those. I thought the little park was nicely done. Pink Pigeon was such a cool filly.

Thanks, all. It is very lovingly maintained. Glad that this was put in place, last time I was there, it was all farmland. Now, most of it is a Walmart Superstore and gas station. I have to say that the store itself is kept immaculate, and very friendly people. But, all of Lex is like that anyway.
