Playful Act (IRE)

Remember that mare that sold for $10.5 million (is that still a record?)? She has Anjaz an '09 Street Cry filly running in the G3 Long Island tomorrow. She is graded stakes placed.
She has produced Giants Play (who was a weanling the year Playful Act sold for the record), who was a G2 winner.

I'm pretty sure that is still the record price for a broodmare at auction. Havre de Grace came close though.
Playful Act has since been sent to Great Britain and Ireland.

Yeah, Better Than Honor was $14 million.
I can think of some other mares that would top Playful Act's price if they were ever sold at public auction. Even in this market, not the hey-day market of the mid 90's to early 00's.
