His first crop of Irish-bred 2yos race next year(2016). But he hasn't really done anything at stud since being Champion Freshman sire. Has anyone heard about if his Irish crops are looking good? Has he gotten any good mares?
I really liked him and was hoping he would do well at stud. Then after initial success, he just hasn't done much. He has 6 SWs from 789 foals of racing age and all 6 being in his first two crops. That is pretty awful. I'm surprised Coolmore hasn't cut their losses and sold him.

We just visited Henry at Coolmore and, yes, he has been a bit disappointing at stud. I think he will be sold if the right offer comes along. He was a wonderful racehorse.
