Anybody have lists of winners of Pakistan's Triple Crown races? I've started a thread in the racing forum on the same subject, but it's definitely a hard one to look up. Googling has brought up a few winners of the Pakistan Derby, but pedigrees are extremely hard to find. There are 1000 Guineas, 2000 Guineas, Oaks and St. Leger races, and the Derby was first run in 1947. Evidently, the series is run at a racetrack in Lahore, but the track has no website and so far, I've found no contacts in Pakistan.
I'm working on a project of just keeping lists of winners of Triple Crown race winners for individual countries. I've got most of Europe sewed up (except Belgium, where the Jockey Club (
http://www.jockey-club.be/) refuses to share its Triple Crown history and never responds to pleading emails). Needless to say, the project is driving me crazy...er.
I still work on my 'Dams of 2 or more classic winners' project, which was started long ago, continues to grow at a nice clip, and doesn't drive me crazy any more.
