Myself and another here on the board are partners on Hip 387. She's not going to bring bazillions of dollars, but she's a big, good-looking daughter of Stormy Atlantic. We're just not set up as a breeding partnership. Hoping she goes to someone in the US, so I can follow her babies!

Hip 532: I see that Wired Bryan finally showed back up, as a stallion prospect only.

I just posted in another thread about the all-around hellaciousness of Left Bank. Good luck, hope she finds a good home.BlindLucky wrote:Myself and another here on the board are partners on Hip 387. Crossing fingers and toes! She showed promise so hopefully there will be interest in her.BlindLucky wrote:Myself and another here on the board are partners on Hip 387. Talk about ruining horses. Wired Bryan couldn't even make it past his 2-year-old year...6 starts! What happened? I don't understand this industry. I think maybe a small time breeder could go for a horse like him, but really he should just be a gelding and a riding horse. I do love seeing Runaway Groom in a pedigree.

Some interesting hips in there:
112 Gamay Noir
232 Miss Derek
277 Part the Seas (Sam-Son Farm bred, but was claimed off them)
378 Shanon Nicole
359 Silky Smooth (i/f to Giants Causeway)
425 Unattended (Quality Road-Go Go)... was wondering where she was. I guess she's an unraced broodmare prospect.

58: Don't Blame Me - stakes placed just turned 3yo F. Wonder why they're getting out of her.

Barishynikov, Gala Award both in the sale as stallion prospects. Of the two, I would take Baryshnikov. Battlefront, a two time winning War Front colt is also in as a racing or stallion prospect. If he goes for cheap enough, maybe some smart person will purchase him and give him to G. Motion for a complete turn-around

I was snickering over Ebbycalvin Laloosh (somebody liked Bull Durham!) and then I realized she's a filly. *side eye*

Baryshnikov only got 7 mares last year, so I guess it's easier to put him in the sale than try to sell him privately? Or at least see if there's any interest, I'm guessing.

I could have sold my 4Runner and bought two stallions.
Or I could have bought our filly back, picked up a friend or two for her, and bought a stallion to go with them

I saw that Gala Award is half to Stormello... Did any of his foals run well?
