Two horses I like are selling as racing/stallion prospects - Unbridled's Note and Black Onyx.

I was beginning to wonder where Black Onyx went. Thanks for pointing him out

No problem. I think he's just never been right since that ankle (or knee?) chip he had in the spring of 2013. Too bad.

If I was a small breeder and I wanted to introduce new blood in my broodmare band,
I would try and get Hip #306 by Kitten's Joy out of Grannyfranny by Grand Slam.
This filly is a full sister to Grade 1 stakes winner Kitten's Dumplings winner of the QE ll Challenge Cup Gr1.

Always some hidden gems in Keeneland January.
I am curious why Glen Hill is selling Teammate, they just purchased her privately this year. Glen Hill is also selling 2-year-old Apres Ski, and her dam, Tremendous One.
Some nice one's I like:
77- Saturday Night Ride
164 - Youcan'tcatchme
264 - Eff Bee Eye (love the Philanthropist's).

I see that Blind Luck is in the sale and she's not in foal to Midnight Lute due to an abortion. Hopefully she's not an out because I want to see her when I attend the sale with the KEMI program.

The problem with Pure Symmetry is that nothing she's produced so far can run much, even though she's gone to some of the best stallions available. Of course, they probably wouldn't be selling her if she HAD been a good producer. Of course, as soon as they sell her, one of her younger ones will turn out to be good

I was thinking that as well. Since Harlington went to Saudi Arabia(presumably to the Royal Family Stud) they might be interested in getting her- just a guess- to get more of the family line.

I'd like to see her stay in the US, but perhaps she'd cross well with some of the stallions in Japan. I don't know how much data there is on Sunday Silence over Storm Cat crosses. Storm Cat nicks well with Kingmambo, so King Kamehameha could be an option.

She might be one of those who will only produce well when bred to a non US-based sire. I'd like to see her with All Too Hard or Encosta De Lago, myself.

If Symm did end up in Australia- she could hang out with her full sister, Sophisticat. Can't remember who she went to last, could have been All Too Hard.

Seems that she went to Fastness Rock last- looks like her she slipped her most recent pregnancy (Sophisticat). Some of us were still trying to determine her status Down Under as of late.

I checked the Australian Stud book again for Sophisticat and here is her Aus breeding record.
2015: Served by Pierro(AUS) and Fastnet Rock
2014:not served in 2013
2013:Fastnet Rock Filly
2012:slipped

I think Coolmore just has not reported for 2014 SH. They are notoriously slow with this.

Looks like Pure Symm went to the same connections that have Rizeena, so I guess she'll be off to Ireland.
