Interesting read. How much of the ebb and flow of sire lines can be attributed to the current population of the mares bred? It would be an interesting juxtaposition to look at that.

I think it must also have to do with which sire lines are currently succeeding on the track because that's what determines which stallions are retired to stud.bare it all wrote:Interesting read.
