These old guys look pretty darn good for their age.
Seeking the Gold is 29! Cherokee Run looks phenomenal. And I just love Lure, such a handsome boy.

Nice to see everyone looking so well. Love them all, but have always had a soft spot for Quiet American.
May they continue to thrive!

He may be getting up there in age, but he's still Mr. Noisy American to me. He had plenty to say to everyone who was watching from their stall windows. What an incredibly vocal guy

That is cute. I love "chatty" horses.

Wonder if Seeking the Gold has "mellowed" in his old age...

Last time I saw him, he tried to rip the fingers off his groom, so I would say no

I remember talking to one of the stud grooms at Claiborne years ago, and he said Seeking the Gold got his disposition from his mother, Con Game. They used to have to jog her for quite awhile before they could take her in to be bred. No one wanted to have to deal with her.

Kinda interesting, considering Con game was by Buckpasser, a very even-tempered horse by all accounts
