Pure Symmetry has pretty much spent her entire life at Denali- I'm kinda sad about that. And her 2010 foal Symmetrical by UBS is also in the sale- as a broodmare prospect only- Hip # 2136. I seem to remember seeing a few works for her- so I guess that didn't work out. Last sold at FTOCT 2011 for $210K to Adena Springs

And, from the same family- Double's Partner is in as a racing/stallion prospect- Hip #2797

Is there a way to search for certain covering sires in the index? I don't want to look through every broodmare to see who's in foal to who.

Yes, at the top, 7th column over- is a search box for covering sire. You need to change the session number at the top of the page to see each day.

ETA: I just realized that there is a "all sessions" choice at the top, D'oh!

I just was looking at the covering sire spot and it had nothing in it for me to sort by (was looking for Frankel covers...)

Hmm, that is odd, and yes, there is nothing in that column, perhaps the info was missed or not loaded yet? Could be a glitch as well- that does make it hard- you'll go blind looking like that.

If you open it as an Excel file, the covering sire info is there.

I found 3 covers by Frankel although I could have missed one or two

Hip #60 Tashzara
Hip #173 Laurelei
Hip # 373 Latin Love

Seems like Lonhro(AUS) and Hat Trick(JPN) are getting more popular, saw a bit more than I can remember in the past.

Americain has 5 - Hips # 1704, 1792, 2121, 2590 and 2657

and Musketier(GER) has 3 - #'s 2903, 2958, 3045

Way too much fun for me!

With the way the market has been going, and just to cover all my bases, I need to borrow about $50 million for my virtual shopping list :D

And probably another $25 million or so for the Fasig-Tipton November. No problem, right?

Anyone, anyone?

Bueller?

Hip 64 - weanling colt - War Front x Treasure Trail (half sister to Zenyatta, Balance)
With that pedigree, should go for $$$$$$$.
Hip 130 - Eblouissante, as a broodmare prospect only (!!)
I wonder why that is? Have the injuries from the Shuvee gate meltdown proved to be bigger problems than expected? Or has she shown that she is traumatized...and freaked out when they've tried to put her in the gate since then?
Hip 197 - Boisterous, as a racing or stallion prospect.
I'm really surprised that the Phipps Stable is selling him.
Hip 213 - Reaching (IRE), half sister to Peeping Fawn, in foal to Frankel.
This one is going to sell high...will it be to an American owner/breeder who wants that Galileo/Frankel line? Will Coolmore want him? Or Darley? I see competitive bidding between the bloodstock powerhouses driving the price up.
Hip 260 - Unfold the Rose, dam of Stephanie's Kitten, in foal to Kitten's Joy.
Stephanie's Kitten is pretty good. Sister likely to be, as well.
Hip 831 - Pure Symmetry, dam is Serena's Song, in foal to Kitten's Joy.
If I won the lottery, I'd like to buy this one.
Hip 2759 - Unbridled Command, as a stallion prospect.
What happened to the ambitious plans for this horse to race at Ascot and aim for the Cox Plate? Has he even raced this year? He looked fantastic winning the Hollywood Derby last November.

Who wants to buy Upperline for me? Loved her while she was racing, love her bloodlines, love that she's in foal to War Front. She should go for a pretty penny... I just hope she stays in the US. Her dam, Snowflake, went to Japan, gave birth, and hasn't produced anything since. Anyone know if she died?

Only two mares in foal to War Front in the sale - Upperline and Ask the Moon (hip 288).

She's had foals every year since she was exported except for 2010. She had a colt by Aragorn named Eldarion in '09; didn't have a foal in '10; had a filly by Storming Home named Telluride in '11; had an unnamed colt by Storming Home in '12 and had a filly by Admire Moon this year.
