Under a business plan change at the farm, Three Chimneys will not offer a consignment at this year's Keeneland September yearling sale, a change that also saw personnel cuts at the Midway, Ky., farm.

Remarkable stupidity on their part to let Jen Roytz go. There is no one in the entire business better at PR and marketing.

Wow - totally agree. I am SO SORRY to hear about Jen leaving. She is an absolute gem.

I am hoping I am wrong, but I deduce from this that 3Chims will be much less fan-friendly in the future than it has been.

I guess times are tough all over and being fan friendly costs money they maybe do not have right now to spare.
Then again, perhaps their new business partners don't think that being fan friendly is a necessity.
It almost seems to me that they are in survival mode and they figure stallions, mare and good horses will be the surest route to making money.
