Can't see most links. Not everyone is on twitter, and they just blocked 'outsiders' from even looking at a post.

Thanks. I was able to see that photo of the ageless Distorted Humor yesterday, but no longer. :(
That's a real PITA, since I'm not a Twitter 'member,' and have no inclination to be part of Elon's debacle.

G1P Chindit to India at the end of the season. uh... since when is racing — let alone breeding — a thing there? :o

TIL being "shipped off" to Kentucky for retirement is a bad thing.

From the very limited research I’ve done, they have a couple stud farms there with decent cast offs from Godolphin (Dreamfield) Coolmore (Roderic O’Connor), Dean’s Kitten, etc. though PedigreeQuery says that Dean’s Kitten was stolen at one point but was returned.

Nick Luck interviewed one of the owners of the top stud farms there, the name escapes me, but she had inherited it from her father. She said that pretty much all the horses in India are bred by the top stud farms, it’s just not custom there for owners to have their own mares and to send them to stallions at the top farms. The stallions only privately cover mares owned by the farm theyre standing at.

As a rule, if a place has a significant number of horses then it's gonna have horse racing. "I bet that my horse is faster than yours" is a universal human sentiment. Being a former Commonwealth country India has a fair number of Thoroughbreds and a Thoroughbred racing tradition to match.

Ameeta Mehra owns Usha Stud. They won their 15th Indian Derby earlier this year with a filly named Mirra(Speaking of Which). Her sire, who stands at Usha Stud, was a MGSW in the US and G3SW in Ireland. Speaking of Which(Invincible Spirit - Suitably Discreet(Mr. Prospector - Alywow, by Alysheba).

It looks like Tale of Verve has either moved or will shuttle to Haras La Concordia in Uruguay.
