Interesting pedigree- almost free of inbreeding (some Mr. P on the top), but Blushing Groom and Groovy on the bottomRuffiantoRags wrote:Honorable Dillon, a SW son of Tapit to stand at Rockridge Stud, Hudson NY for a fee of $5,000 LFSN

Yes, a bit light on pedigree on the mare side, but he should match up with most all mares in NY. He is quite the looker, very correct, and of course a stunning grey like his sire. Pictures are being taken today on the farm, soon to be released!serenassong wrote:Interesting pedigree- almost free of inbreeding (some Mr. P on the top), but Blushing Groom and Groovy on the bottomRuffiantoRags wrote:Honorable Dillon, a SW son of Tapit to stand at Rockridge Stud, Hudson NY for a fee of $5,000 LFSN

Would you turn out a just retired very valuable race horse into acres of pasture? Just looking for disaster! You have to start out small and for short periods of time in order for them to get use to the grass and freedom.Vandalay wrote:Why the temporary fencing?..

Hope he does well in NY- if he is close enough- I may have to go visit him. Kinda thought that he might remain in Australia- but like him in NY betterNorthport wrote:DRFBreeding @DRFBreeding · 11s 11 seconds ago

Johar has passed away at 15 years old from a paddock accident. He'll be buried next to his sire, Gone West.
I wanna do bad things with you.

Always liked Thunder Gulch. Had a hard time rooting against him in the '95 JCGC - Wanted to see him keep that little streak going, but my heart was with Cigar.flytpthestars wrote:Thunder Gulch is pensioned. I contacted Ashford and they confirmed it.
Happy 2nd retirement, old boy...

Looks like Harlington is on his way to Saudi Arabia- was bought for $90k for Saudi interests(probably)- same person bought 2 other stallions for the interests- and it would seem to make sense that he is on the same plane.
