This reminds me of learning how to do a roly poly (forward roll) as a kid.

Maybe the sand flying up is throwing him off and the texture. Because we know he has to lay down to sleep.

it's just so... strange. I'm going assume his connections are experienced and capable, because he and his paddock mates look fantastic, but you'd want to make sure his neck/withers/ribs weren't bothering him when he went down. But he must be able to lay down inside and outside for naps just fine... or else they'd be really concerned and not tweeting about it :lol: I guess he's just a little bit... slow.
