Happy, plump, MUDDY mares. My favorite kind! I always love seeing them all fuzzy and horsed out in their retirement.

Ditto on the mares! Our mares on RRS were also covered in dry mud this week.

Take Charge Lady's daughter Charming's daughter Take Charge Brandi won the Starlet tonight in game fashion. I heard TCL being bred to War Front, anyone know about Charming? Didn't Mandy Pope buy a yearling from this family last summer for over 2 million, beating out Willie Horton? Any other information about members of this family? Thanks!

TCL has a War Front yearling filly, about to be 2, named Conquering. She was not sold at public auction.

Horton bought Charming's yearling filly by War Front at Saratoga this year and named her Take Charge Tressa.

Mandy Pope bought TCL's Indian Charlie daughter, I'll Take Charge, last year. She'll soon be 3 and has yet to start.

Charming had a War Front colt this year. TCL did not produce a foal.

Charming's first foal, Siete C (Unbridled's Song) broke his maiden in April of this year and had a 3-race win streak going, but fell off the radar after his last race, in June.

TCL's other daughter, Elarose (Storm Cat), has a 2YO by Shakespeare who debuted in November at AQU. His name is intelligence. Her coming 2YO colt by Smart Strike remains unnamed. Her 2014 filly by Tapit has been named Hippocampus.

Take Charge Lady was bred to War Front for 2015
Elaraose to Tapit.

Charming wasn't bred. Her War Front colt wasn't born until May 28th.

Serena's Song has been pensioned - still in good health, but she has done enough. Enjoy your retirement- and maybe they will put some youngsters in with her to teach them some manners. :)

Sorry to read that she lost her 2014 pregnancy. :(
I hope she has many years of healthy retirement ahead of her. Maybe she can be an 'auntie' to weanlings.

I think that would be perfect for her- if she would like to have another job.

Princess may get stall in barn known as "Terry's Jewel Box" due to its star mares :)

Preach hasn't been bred since 2013.

Preach's daughter, Worshipper (by Awesome Again), was bred to Orb, so maybe it was her?
