Well, they certainly have no shortage of lighty raced stallions who will only ever stand a few seasons there. But this guy was signifigant pedigree wise to the Canadian market too. A real shame, just a few weeks out from the start of covering season too.

You literally could wrap them in bubble wrap and they'll still find a way to kill themselves. We have a horse who is kind of a huge jerk and kicks the walls whenever he is pissed (always) and has literally knocked an entire 8 foot by 12 foot tongue and groove partition wall out of the metal slats that held it in place.

Speightster had just been transferred to this new farm, and I wonder if he was upset from being in a new, strange-smelling stall.

I wonder if Blowen is going to need to find a new companion for 'Soup's buddy, the donkey Gorgeous George. They were pretty bonded and I'm sure George misses his buddy.

Crowding the edges of a small ring full of agitated stallion is a risky choice. I remember the video of a young Slim Shadey NAILING a cameraman right in the middle of his lens when being walked around a saddling paddock in Britain. With a perfectly-aimed hind leg.
Horses are amazingly accurate when they want to be.
