Oxbow was not in the Calumet silks. Brad Kelley still uses his Bluegrass Hall silks, as Stud TNT uses the former Calumet silks.

right, what i meant was he's owned by calumet, in calumet/brad kelley silks, as opposed to a horse who had 0 association to the farm prior to their retirement. calumet has not had a horse that they own in the winner's circle of a classic race then be retired to their farm since tim tam.

Forward Pass retired to stud at Calumet for the 1970 breeding season. His first season in Japan was 1978.

ok, cool, thanks flanders! oxbow's got something going for him in terms of history.

that all aside, this new beefy roster makes me bummed they aren't open for visitors, or they weren't a few years ago.

Palace Malice is being retired due to a recently-diagnosed injury. It has not yet been decided where the son of Curlin will stand.

JJ's Lucky Train (http://jjsluckytrain.com/) was claimed earlier this year specifically to be retired. He'll stand at Blue Spruce farm in Kearneysville, West Virginia for the 2015 season.

Super Ninety Nine has a nice pedigree, and he was fast. Hoped he would run some more this year, but I suppose last year was gruelling on him. He is priced nicely at $5,000 and Country Life Farm is fantastic.
