Yeah and I typed it wrong anyway. That's the stud manager, he is standing at Waldorf Stud.

I loved him and he was beautiful to boot.
I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

I was always especially fond of him because he shared a name with the macaw I rescued. :( He was a beautiful horse.

I see Lentenor ans Musketier are cataloged to Keeneland's December Digital sale:

It’s more than just Lentenor and Musketier—Paynter, Grey Swallow, Behest, and Snapy Halo are all in that sale, as are mix of 11 yearlings, weaklings, and mares.

That’s either a big cull or a partial dispersal. That they’re in a digital auction rather than the big sale next month says cull.

Musketier should have been sold as a polo stallion years ago. I suspect Snapy Halo will go back to Argentina.

It's not Paynter. It's Zayat's share in Paynter being auctioned as part of the ongoing resolution of debts.

Wonder why Normandy had been gelded? Saw him the day he arrived at Spendthrift.

Was about to post about the long list of Calumet stallions... just happy to see Grey Swallow years ago at the farm.

We Miss Artie has moved to Red Feather Equine in New Mexico.

Rainbow Heir is on the move again to Shamrock Farm in Maryland.

He went from Kentucky to New York to Pennsylvania in 4 years. Last year he only served 13 mares. This year, he has only 10 winners total and the highest earner won a maiden special at Aqueduct in January and has since dropped down the class ladder to $5k claiming price at Finger Lakes and Penn National.

They’re not running and there’s shrinking demand for stallions anyway. He can be a nice riding gelding instead of a mediocre breeding stallion.

I realize it was more than those two, I simply noted the two of the most well known of the bunch...
