Maybe FG has a tendency to go up, so a restraint across the bridge of his nose may be needed to convince him to stay on the ground, more or less?

Here's a lovely shot of Chrome with the gorgeous fall colors at Arrow stud. Chrome is wearing his relatively new halter with a headband. The black nose band was a gift from one of his fans in the US. He has his cookies, his barn cat buddies, and a surprising number of visitors considering the comparative remoteness of the farm. He seems content from what we can tell.
Tachyon, I love that montage of the stallion head shots you posted back in August. Because I lost track of this forum for awhile, this is the first I've seen it.

It does seem that California Chrome is very popular and busy, haha!Ridan_Remembered wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 8:05 pm Here's a lovely shot of Chrome with the gorgeous fall colors at Arrow stud. He also receives visits from groups of Japanese kids who come to learn about the horseracing (and the breeding).

And the image I posted back in August was the work of Dr Shigeki Yusa at JBBA.
He is a great ambassador!

Tachyon, thanks for the photo of Chrome with the visiting children. He always did enjoy the kids who visited him. Here's another recent glorious photo of Chrome with double rainbows in the sky over Arrow Stud.

Is MDO aggressive or does he just like to flick his ears around a lot?
