i met her up close and personal at del mar, and frankly, the comment re: the size of her head is insulting.

it's WAY bigger than a bus! :lol:

Fortunately, the rest of her is the size of a semi, so she's still perfectly proportioned. :P :lol:

That baby looks to be right there- hard to tell from a pic- but I am getting pretty good in estimating foaling times in watching the Winstar cams. :D

That baby looks to be right there- hard to tell from a pic- but I am getting pretty good in estimating foaling times in watching the Winstar cams. :D

When is your prediction?
Considering that was taken on Friday- I would say no later than Wednesday- going to see if I can find a more recent pic and compare- if it's a good angle.

It has to be soon...is she overdue at this point? I know there is a lot of leeway with mare foaling dates...

Today (4/5) will be the 14th day of the foal watch since Ann and Jerry arrived in Kentucky. I would guess she is a little past her due date but they can go early or late.

Must be nice to take 2+ weeks of "vacation" to go wait for your mare to foal. Wonder if they wish they had her boarded somewhere closer to a beach, though. Kentucky is nice, but 2 weeks sure is a long time in the bluegrass.

I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

New post on the Zenyatta blog, and it might just be me but she looks tired in some of the photos. Think she's done with the lugging around... :lol:

Someone shared a 4/3/13 pic of Zenyatta and Ziconic and now a ton of people think its her new foal. They are sharing it and reposting it all over Facebook.
