I don't see the point of putting these high-profile mares through a sale only to set their RNA at some unreachably high number. Is it just for publicity?

I understand not selling Puca for 2.8m. She is a young mare. All 3 of her foals of racing age have blacktype. Mage maybe only has 1 G1 win, but he ran well in most of his races and he is racing next year. Dornoch looks like he is improving. Her yearling brought 1.2m. People will pay a lot to have a sibling(half or full) to a Kentucky Derby winner.

Caravel, I'm not really sure what they thought they were going to get. Its a huge increase over the 500k they paid at Fasig Tipton November 2021. As for why she was in Keeneland over FT, maybe because they wanted to be the big horse in this sale? I mean the same buyers should be at this sale, its why they run them back to back.

i doubt that she stays in training, she's 7 next year.
