I thought Into Mischief was booked full before Blue Prize was sold? Does Spendthrift just add another mare to his roster or do they have to refund someone else’s breeding, or-?
It's possible the mare's owner has a share or shares in Into Mischief. They may have had a contract signed with the mare TBD. I think some breeders book seasons to stallions without assigning a specific mare until later. But even if none of the above were the case, the farm would find a way to work the BC Distaff winner into his book.

It's also possible some mares have dropped off from his book for one reason or another.

And yeah with bookings there's no 100% guarantee the mare will actually make it to Spendthrift's shed.

It makes sense to take Laurens to Invincible Spirit, since that stallion is now in his 20s.
While unexpected things can happen, it's most likely she will have plenty of years ahead to visit the young No Nay Never.

Hoping Stellar Wind goes to American Pharoah this year, given his turf success + their original plan.

The stallions that the Aga Khan has chosen for Zarkava is to me, the standard for consistent and diverse top class pairings. Honestly, it's kind of surprising she has thrown only one group one winner.

Japanese champion mares:

Daiwa Scarlet(JPN) (Agnes Tachyon) --> Bricks and Mortar(USA)
Soul Stirring(JPN) (Frankel) --> Bricks and Mortar(USA)

Also Teruya Toshida commented that he would send more than 40 mares from his broodmare band with Shadai Farm this year.

BaM might get some imported G1 winning mares, too.

Ooooh. I love that Soul Stirring is going to Bricks and Mortar. And that resulting foal would be a nice outcross to the Sunday Silence line.
