Does Belle look a bit thin? Her filly isn't exactly plump, either.

She does, compared to when I saw her last June. She was pretty skinny when she sold in 2014, though. I'm wondering if she's one of those mares who's hard to keep weight on, for the most part.

I thought Rags to Riches was supposed to be bred to American Pharoah? I guess they changed their minds.

That was what was reported, but when the RMBs came out, she was only bred to Mo. Her daughter did go to Pharoah. Will be interesting to see their matings this year.

I don't usually do this, but had to check this one. The name Pharaoh Akhenaten is available.

He looks like he's practicing his winner's circle prance.

American Pharoah certainly has been throwing gorgeous foals. Hopefully they can run as well as they look.

I will be intrigued to see whether Ava K. is bred this year or not. She's a '94.

I know of at least 2 notable '92s who were bred last year: Turko's Turn and Macoumba. As we know, Turko produced a live foal last month and it appeared both she and her filly were doing well. There is no report for Macoumba, but Spendthrift is always the last to report anything (foals/no foals, RMBs, etc.).
