Orb doesn't do much for me... Something isnt hitting me right.

Really like Star Guitar but he reminds me of a long bodied QH, lol

I think Orb looks a lot like Malibu Moon. Kind of plain.

Wow, he is a nice looking horse. So far, I don't think Distorted Humor has been a huge success as a sire of sires, but this guy is nicely priced.

That shot of Alternation is so perfect, it looks like a painting.

Alternation is gorgeous, very balanced. Revolutionary isnt ugly but something about him isn't particularly pretty. Is his head and neck small for his body or is it just me?

Orb just looks... fat. Star Guitar is very nice besides his high butt.

Orb carries some flesh, as his sireline is prone to do, but he truly does not look as fat in person as he does in pics.

The thing that stood out to me was his withers, and then it seems he has a short back- or it seems that way when you focus on those withers.

I think Rev is very good looking. We are used to seeing official conformation pics of stallions who've been off the track for months. The fact that they weren't afraid to put one out there with the horse racing fit says a lot.

I also think Revolutionary is attractive, with a strong shoulder and deep chest. He may have that miler look to him, but seems pretty balanced IMHO.

Think you are spot on about that. He is indeed race fit.

It doesn't help that Revolutionary's picture is at a slight incline.

And by "doesn't help" I mean that it's driving me crazy. XD

Yeah...it's not like they needed to create a portrait that compensated for his low, flat withers.

Couldn't that also be from AP Indy? I thought I read something a long time ago about Seattle Slew and his offspring having short backs. I want to say the author cited Hail to Reason as a source of that. If you look at shots of Indy, Slew, and Bold Reasoning, it seems they are all large through the shoulder/withers and have relatively short backs. Shots of Dynaformer and Roberto have the same look.
