Timber Town has referred to Groupie Doll's filly as a chestnut. I don't see anything that strongly indicates she'll turn grey.

the "grey maybe?" was in reference to HdG's foal, not GD's

I understand! His full sister worked all last year at Churchill Downs, then didn't make it into the starting gate. I'd be a nervous wreck too, and my reason would be "just because"
