Stallions look so much better when their handlers actually allow them to puff up a bit and take a proud stance...instead of standing with head low and subdued like a gelding.

I also think the Euro style of a straight cropped tail somehow makes the rest of them, or their hind end at least, look more filled out.
I dont know if having a stallion be behaved on the end of a shank counts as “subduing” him.

I certainly did not mean that some handler "subdues" a horse to achieve a very relaxed pose, only that standing that way may not flatter the horse's appearance.
My personal taste prefers an alert stance, with a bit of that presence that a stallion has in the flesh.

Maybe it's me but i just don't see the appeal. If I wanted not this time blood but didn't have the money I'd go to one of his sonsNenikikamen23 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 4:35 pm Boptrot (Uncle Mo - Miss Macy Sue, by Trippi) - Half to Not This Time & Liam's Map entering stud at Breakway Farm in IN

The appeal may be in his dam. She's produced some really good offspring, so I could see gambling on her influence.

Well I'd have to see him, but I like sons of Uncle Mo and I really like the off brand Trippi in there through his best daughter. Definitely deserves a shot in a place like IndianaTapitsGal wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 9:23 amMaybe it's me but i just don't see the appeal. I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Is it photoshopped? Looks like he's standing on the grass rather than in it.Nenikikamen23 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 4:21 pm Stage Raider (Pioneerof the Nile x Stage Magic, by Ghostzapper)
