Buena Vista(JPN)(Special Week) is probably the unlukiest girl in the Japanese racing history.
She had 6 G1 wins, but she had to settle for 2nd place in 7 G1 events, too.
The 2010 Japan Cup especially, in which she was demoted to 2nd place due to Christophe Soumillon's careless ride in the home stretch, remains one of the bitterest memories to me.

Oooh seeing Red Falx reminds me - tachyon, have you heard anything about Gold Ship being sick or anything lately? He looked a little thin to me in some pics from nabecci's Twitter feed... could be the angles, and I know he's getting plenty of grass and hay, but they look a bit odd... ? :?

but then again in others he looks perfectly fine - like here, if you don't look at the last one

With those black blinkers and blue shadow roll, Red Falx looks like a Bob Baffert trainee ;)

He looks ribby but it's possible it is due to simply being out of racing condition then being slow to put 'fat' weight back on.
(Also possible he got sick or stressed out, just sayin' it doesn't have to be that)

Is she a true black? I have seen that one or two places and couldn't tell from the photos.

Like her sister Verxina, Vivlos is registered as black.
