Exactly what I thought. Still a nice looking horse though. Shorter then I thought.Northport wrote:He got really chunky in a hurry

I have always been impressed with the fitness level of the Three Chimneys stallions. Yes It's True is 18 years old and he still looks like he would fit right in if you took him out and galloped him around the track.

I saw Orb today and, while he doesn't look like he could go back in training tomorrow, he doesn't look nearly as fat as he does in the Claiborne ad. They always seem to have unflattering photos. I mean, Blame is gorgeous and his confo pic does not convey that at all.

Wonder if he is one of the ones that is still ridden? Know that they do that with the stallions if they like it. Winstar does as well- I have seen Bodemeister and Distorted Humor under saddle- Western Tack. Bode looks like he could go out and cut out some cattle- he looks very fit to me. They tried to put a saddle back on Tiznow, but he kept rolling on the ground to dislodge the saddle and rider, so that was a no goBlindLucky wrote:I have always been impressed with the fitness level of the Three Chimneys stallions. I like not only the amount of bone he has, but also the fact that he is one of the few stallions that doesn't seem to have overly long pasterns.

Also not really a conformation shot...but maybe the funniest stallion shot I've seen.

I take great joy in watching him on the cams, he is sooooo funny. He LOVES to sleep- and is very laid back, from what I am told.BaroqueAgain1 wrote:Also not really a conformation shot...but maybe the funniest stallion shot I've seen.

I haven't seen this video posted elsewhere, very nice short clip about Coolmore and Galileo from the BBC.

Ha- he looks so sleepy. BTW- that is Tiznow across from him in the barn. Sometimes they both have their heads out the stall- and talk smack (KD winner vs BC classic winner)CoronadosQuest wrote:https://twitter.com/WinStarCEO/status/4 ... 8698582016serenassong wrote:I take great joy in watching him on the cams, he is sooooo funny. All three of those boys are really handsome, but I think I'll give the nod to Excelebration. Declaration of War is a powerhouse, but Excel' has a much finer head.

Lovely color and dapples. See by Equibase that he never raced- do we know the issue?mariasmon wrote:Judpot (A.P. Indy x Miesque), standing in South Africa

All I can find is that he was unraced due to injury. He apparently has done so well thus far that other farms have tried to buy him, including Three Chimneys. The Niarchos family still owns half of him, and Varsfontein Stud (where he stands in SA) owns the other half, but they have no desire to sell him.serenassong wrote:Lovely color and dapples. Well, that's not the worst Photoshop outlining I've ever seen. But I just can't love...or trust...a portrait like that. It makes me wonder if anything's been trimmed off or manipulated to flatter the horse's look?
