ETA: I hate that Twitter uses Bing translation, it's terrible. But I get tired of c/p into google too... first world problems, I know. :roll:

I hadn't had him in my virtual stable.
And I've just seen the race replay -- he was an impressive winner!!!

This year Hat Trick(JPN) sired his new G1 winner in Argentina. (his fifth G1 winner worldwide)
Hat Puntano(ARG) 2013C. o/o Stormy Pursuer by Bernstein(USA) won in the G1 Gran Premio Gran Criterium 1600m turf at San Isidoro on May 25th 2016.

Makahiki(JPN), 2013C. Deep Impact(JPN) x Wikiwiki(JPN) by French Deputy(USA), has resumed his light work at Ritto Training Center after his dramatic victory in the G1 Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby).

He is set to run in the G1 Arc de Triomphe (Oct 2) with a prep in the G2 Prix Niel (Sep 11) at Chantilly.
He will be ridden by Christophe Lemaire in France under Makoto Kaneko colour.

He deserved a bunch of hazardous duty bonuses for dealing with that big grey bad boy. It's a bit of a miracle...and a maybe a testament to Takatoshi's reflexes...that Gold Ship didn't kill someone with his violent outbursts.

I'm sure he is happy he doesn't have to worry about holding the lead shank that has Gold Ship on the other end of it anymore. Though I'm sure whichever stallion handler works with Gold Ship now has to have the same nerves of steel that Imanami has. I can't imagine, given his history, that Gold Ship is exactly a gentleman in the breeding shed. :lol:
