He definitely throws some leg! This is the mare’s leggiest foal she’s had.Slewfan2 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 2:25 pmCongrats !! They’re both beautiful! He really does.....He’s not especially tall, but he’s leggy and elegant (especially so when he was racing), andSummer Bird wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 2:37 pmHe definitely throws some leg! and though I haven’t seen THAT many, they all seem to be leggy; he’s really stamping them. He’s such a stunning animal ...When I saw him debut as a baby, my jaw dropped.

Thanks for the photos, Summer Bird. I hope this has been an uneventful foaling season for you.

Well not with me, but our other night watch person got real sick and has been in the hospital for almost a week now with a blood infection and both his kidneys failing. He seems to be in good spirits even if it seems like he’ll be on dialysis soon. These last couple seasons haven’t been very good to us that’s for sure! At least the foals have been healthy this year!ThreeMustangs wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 4:10 pm Thanks for the photos, Summer Bird. I hope this has been an uneventful foaling season for you.

Which is funny because she’s not a real flashy mare. Layla is doing well. She didn’t get in foal last year and they’re struggling again this year getting her in foal to City of Light. If she doesn’t catch after her most recent trip to the shed, she’ll probably switch stallions
