I hate ALL the Photoshop-outlined portraits, but Talismanic's has to be the worst. Who thought it was a good idea to outline on a white background a horse with that much white? He could have Clydesdale-length feathers on his front legs, but who can tell?

Call me crazy, but I find something very appealing about Code West.

He looks "classic." You could put a black/white vintage filter over it and it'd look like a conformation photo from 1932.

Yes, there's the build. And on top of that there's something very earnest about his expression.

He has to be the darkest liver chestnut I've ever seen.

I'd love to see how his dapples would shine in bright sun against that dark bronze coat. 8-)

Yeah he looks a lot darker than the pics I've seen of him racing. That's weird.

Tunis (Estejo x Tracja, by Llandaff) is a Polish-bred hurdler who entered stud this year at Haras de Cercy. Very handsome!

I hadn't heard of either Beaumec de Houelle or Tunis, but they both are handsome and appealing.

And Skipshot is absolutely the darkest liver chestnut I've ever seen.

Both of them are hurdlers, and with their nice balanced frames they sure look the part. France is unusual in that they don't automatically geld all their jumps horses so they have jumps stallions that have actually raced over fences (as opposed to being a failed flat stallion as is normally the case in the UK/Ireland).

France also has a lot of Anglo Arabian racing going on, more than the UK (at least from what I've seen).

Beaumec de Houelle is scarily back at the knee. Kind of surprised he had a successful jumps career, his connections must have taken good care of him.

Old photo but I don't think it's been posted here. I wanted to share since he's so pretty. Tagula (Taufan) is a complete outcross for the Mr. Prospector and Northern Dancer lines, and is apparently still active at age 26 (site says 82% fertility). He's being advertised as available for 2020, when he'll be inching ever closer to 30 at 27.

This fella Dynamic Racer (Run Away and Hide x Biogio's Gift, by Any Given Saturday) has an interesting build. He kind of reminds me of a sighthound.
