I thought the same thing, but Confidence Game only sold for $25,000 and The Process sold for $375,000, so I guess it's on trend with her other foals. I did still expect more based on his siblings' recent races, so maybe he'll be an RNA.

669, the McKinzie half bro to Mage, is a nice-looking bay, although really nervous. Bids are popping. $1,200,000.

ETA: Looking through the Summary for today, there seem to be a LOT of RNA's. :?

Maybe just that Rags To Riches and her daughters haven't done anything as producers? Or she had something undesirable on her vet records? I'm not good at conformation but nothing huge sticks out to me.

4000$ for a really pretty Bolt D'Oro filly... at this price I guess the vet check is really not great

Yeah I think it's because they're not great producers.

While I know I'm never going to get an answer, its always puzzled me that they never bothered to name any of her colts born from 2017 to 2021. And because of that none of them made it to the races, that's 7 foals that never started, 1 only raced 1x, another 3x. The only one that ever really accomplished something was Rhett Butler who was a HOTY/G1SW in Hungary. But Hungarian racing is Part 3 so its like winning an allowance, its not even blacktype. He also raced in Serbia but that isn't even on the list of countries with the IFHA so idk what that counts as.

i guess he isn't the prettiest specimen, but i don't think it justifies the sale price, much less the low reserve. vetting might not be the greatest.
