That's quite a big smear of manure piling up in front of the auctioneer's stand. The clean-up crew hasn't been able to remove all of it, so I suspect that it's wet stuff that's soaked the rug. Nervous yearlings = wet manure.

Shadai has added a nice filly to its broodmare band; 506, Speightstown/Mo Chuisle, who dropped Bench Points and Pointsoffthebench, for $525,000.
Also 460, a Kitten's Joy/Limonar (IRE) colt and 499, a Speightstown colt, were bought by Yoshizawa Stable Co., Ltd. for $350,000. Kenji Ryotokuji bought 486, Scat Daddy/Mary's Angel colt, for $400,000.
Katsumi Yoshida purchased 512, the Curlin/Moonlight Lover colt.
